I assume most of you think that the majority of drug smugglers caught on the US-Mexican border on their way in the Unites States has to be Mexicans. News flash: Most of them are in fact American citizens.
“It turns out that the Border Patrol catches more American citizens with drugs than it does Mexican couriers.”
And to make it even more interesting: It is not the usual suspected potheads that gets the most attention – it’s the well-known celebrities like country-western singer Willie Nelson, rapper Snoop Dogg or actor Armie Hammer. But that’s not all…
El Paso Times reports that their arrests made national news and put the Sierra Blanca checkpoint and Hudspeth County on the map. Their arrests, locals say, is slowly making the town a tourist attraction.
But as it turns out, fellow celebrity, Steven Seagal, is currently working as reserve sheriff deputy with Hudspeth County, who patrols the area a few days a month, And he does not like the idea of tourists taking pictures os him while he’s doing some real work, for a change.
So the hard-hitting action star is about to make some phone calls to some really nasty guys he knows – known as the “Paparazzi”.
Looks like there are gonna be a good old showdown in Sierra Blance in the near future….

It turns out that the Border Patrol catches more American citizens with drugs than it does Mexican couriers, according to an analysis of records obtained by the Center for Investigative Reporting
